In the 1950s and '60s the Dallas Cowboys players wore a 2-bar facemask as this was the standard style worn by all position players such as quarterbacks, running backs, receivers and defensive backs. Riddell has borrowed a page from Cowboys past in bringing back the glorious grey 2-bar facemask in its replica Dallas Cowboys mini Throwback helmets.

These 2-bar Throwbacks also use grey closed cel foam to mimic what was worn in that era. They have also resurrected authentic Riddell logos that are printed onto the chinstraps and back of the helmet, just as they were back then. There are no front and back Riddell nameplates, because they didn't exist in those days. The chinstrap uses a stud-and-buckle mechanism that allows it to be snapped and unsnapped like the real thing use to.

This is an outstanding product for the long time Dallas Cowboys Fan.
